The sculpture is also meant as a memorial. The sea here has changed radically in recent years. Dolphins are rarely seen anymore. Over twenty years ago, they still came to the coast regularly and a few years ago there were boat tours to watch dolphins. This tourist offer has since been discontinued due to a lack of dolphins. Turtles are also becoming increasingly rare. Climate change can also be clearly seen in the sea and only humans have the power to do something about it.
