The Marienkirche in Rötha is a former pilgrimage church built in the Gothic style. It stands in a cemetery and is now used as a room for funeral ceremonies and, because of its Silbermann organ, for concerts. On special occasions such as Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, on Easter Eve and on St. John's Day, church services take place. It belongs to the Protestant parish Leipziger Neuseenland in the church district of Leipziger Land.
