Surrounded by a large park, the palace houses, among other things, a carriage museum, a palm house, and a hunting exhibition.
It was the residence of the Hungarian noble Festetics family for over 200 years.
Today, it is known as the Helikon Palace Museum and houses an extensive library and various exhibitions.
