The small sacred monument found here does not show us the crucified Christ. The round, stone pillar, which rises from the lawn on a multi-tiered pedestal, presents the viewer with a person holding the cross standing next to them. One might think of the words of the Apostle Paul, which are handed down in the Letter to the Galatians as follows:
+ "But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world."+ (Gal 6:14)
