Beautiful building with statues; The place is named after the village of Knock that disappeared into the sea and was drowned in a storm surge around 1600. In this village there was a side and a ferry to the Dutch Oterdum, as a connection between the Stadsweg and the Conrebbersweg and as part of the route from the city of Groningen to Emden and Aurich.
