The Protestant town church was built from 1899 to 1900 according to the plans of building officer Heinrich Dolmetsch from Stuttgart. It is already the fifth church on this site and it replaced the Gothic church from the 15th century that burned down in 1898. The first church was first mentioned in documents in 815.
