The Opera Comédie, at the end of the Place de la Comédie, is an Italian-style theatre with gilding and curtains, built in the 18th century but damaged several times by fire. It took on its final appearance at the end of the 19th century. Apart from the Parisian establishments, it is the largest Italian-style theatre in France after the one in Bordeaux.
