In 2015, Harmonie Park was redesigned in the spirit of a 19th-century landscape park with sloping lawns and winding walking paths. The park, the restored fountain of the Peter Benoit Monument and the restored building form a harmonious and attractive whole in the center of Antwerp.

Before De Harmonie was a party hall, the 'Royal Society De Harmonie' used the building as a summer venue. Before that, there was a leper house on the same site where leprosy patients were cared for.

The park also contains the memorial that Henry Van de Velde designed for Peter Benoit. The monument is also called 'Kamiel's swimming pool'.

The Maanstraat is a narrow, cobbled street in Antwerp, located between the Zonnewijzerstraat and the Haringrodestraat. The street name dates from 1850 and is related to the nearby Zonnewijzerstraat. The street is characterized by low houses of two bays under saddle or pseudo-mansard roofs, which date back to the second half of the 19th century.
