From this spot near the Mesa Verde Musuem you get fantastic views of Spruce Tree House, which you can no longer visit due to a unstable arch above the dwelling that the park is working on mitigating. Spruce Tree House is the third largest cliff dwelling in the park and was constructed between about 1211 and 1278 CE by the ancestors of the Pueblo peoples of the Southwest. There are about 130 rooms and 8 kivas and it is thought about 60 to 80 people lived here.

Nice view on this village that cannot be visited anymore due to rocks falls.
