I recommend visiting this very interesting museum to discover the way of life and the construction of these villages. Very interesting.

The Mesa Verde Museum, or the Chapin Mesa Archeological Museum, is one of the oldest museums in the National Park Service. It was constructed between 1922 and 1925 using Cliff House Sandstone—the same material the Ancestral Pueblo people used for nearby cliff dwellings—the museum showcases an architectural style known as Modified Pueblo Revival. The museum offers a 17-minute film providing an overview of Mesa Verde National Park and the history of archaeological work there. Exhibits include artifacts such as pottery, baskets, weavings, tools, and other archaeological finds from the Mesa Verde region. Additionally, five dioramas depict the daily lives of the Ancestral Puebloans from 13,000 BCE to 1200 CE. Currently, the museum is undergoing a multi-year collaborative project to comprehensively redesign its exhibits. Visitors can still enjoy views of Spruce Tree House from overlooks near the museum year-round.
