The St. Anna Church is a hall church with simple but interesting features. Where the church stands, before the 16th century was still a lake called the "Great Sea", which was created as a result of two dike breaches. When the lake was drained, developed here the place Großenmeer.

St. Anne's Church is a 17th-century hall church with simple but interesting furnishings. It was built at the beginning of the 17th century on the then-drained Grossenmeer, a former inland lake.

The organ in St. Anne's is a small instrument built by the organ builder Schmid II (Oldenburg) in 1876. The only changes to the disposition were made by the Alfred Führer company in 1964.
