It is best to go from Piekary. Of course, you can go from the Vistula side, but then you have to climb an almost vertical wall. It's possible, but I recommend good hiking shoes and proper climbing technique with a bike. I wouldn't risk going downhill with a bike ;) there is an easy path to the asphalt in Piekary.
