Pastor Franken and on the right Frank van den Hoogen and his wife.
On Sunday afternoon, November 20, 2022, the new Franciscus chapel along the Kruisstraat around Ooij was officially inaugurated by pastor Rudo van Franken. Many interested parties were present. The chapel is located on the land of the Frank van de Hoogen family, who live behind it on the Spruitenkamp, and was built and furnished on their initiative.
Those present were treated to Glühwein.

OOIJ – The opening and blessing of the Franciscus chapel by Inge Vogels and Frank van den Hoogen took place on Sunday afternoon, November 20, 2022, on the Kruisstraat near Ooij, with great interest.
The Franciscus chapel dedicated to Francis of Assisi (1182-1226), the saint who could talk to animals. Inge Vogels and Frank van den Hoogen, who live on the Spruitenkamp, had it built with a large number of volunteers in a part of their meadow on the Kruisstraat.
