In July 2018 I wanted to travel from Dankerode over the Wippertalsperre to Horla and back. At the time, the area was still devastated by Herbstorkan "Friederike" in 2017. Carry the bike over fallen trees or past - impossible. Whole slopes including paths are devastated. There is also a construction site at the dam, so that a passage was not possible there either.
