Not for the faint hearted but what an achievement! Walked from Exceat Seven Sisters Country Park to Eastbourne along the Southdowns Way around 10 or so miles. There is a cafe halfway at Birling Gap that was surprisingly not expensive. Then stopped at Beachy Head at this point you can take the bus back very frequent. Once in Eastbourne we took one of the frequent busses back to Exceat car park. Exceptional views with dolphins and seals the day we were there.

A wonderful section through a great area with great views. The climbs between the cliffs are steep and require some fitness, but it's worth it. In Berlin Gap there is a café to take a break.

You have the most wonderful views down onto Cuckmere Haven from here on a nice day and it is a heavenly place for a rest break or picnic.
