The Steinlein Cave is located on the north-eastern slope of the Chession. It has several entrances, is about 200 m long and consists of a winding corridor ending in a dead-end well. This cave is of paleontological and scientific interest and is a hibernation area for several species of bats, including the greater horseshoe bat (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum).
