The small plateau above the town has seen various uses. Almost nothing remains of a former chateau and two churches. Only the defensive tower of Saint-Martin, originally from the 13th century and rebuilt centuries later, still stands there; it served both as a dungeon and as the steeple of the second church. Today it is surrounded by an old cemetery that has not been used as such for a long time.

In the ruins of the old castle, more precisely the "fortified house" dating from 1200, of which only the foundations of the perimeter walls and the corner turrets remain, the cemetery was created around 1600. It surrounded the church and the monuments testify to the villagers' love of stone. Some burials reflect the social origins of the deceased and offer details that are sometimes touching, sometimes surprising. The site offers a magnificent view of the village center and the cliffs.
