        My tip: stock up on food. The prices are somewhere in the range of high-end restaurants and we are talking about snack bars here - and the staff there were totally overwhelmed. I paid 4 euros for 0.33 shandy at one place on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg - in a pub. Some of the tables at the "restaurant" were occupied by visitors who hadn't bought anything there, although there is enough space for a picnic on the whole site. Otherwise a beautiful, spacious site with lots of all sorts of things, even if I would have expected a bit more floral planting. A plant market like at the BuGa would have been nice too. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere. Definitely worth it.
