After the municipal reform, Bierlingen became the administrative seat and thus the municipal center. After the previous Bierlingen town hall was initially continued to be used, a new, larger town hall could be built in 1986/87. As part of the redevelopment of the town center, the Kelhof next to the town hall was also redesigned and now shows a modern artistic interpretation of the young municipality: the stone sculptures, consisting of a shepherd with five sheep by two rivers, symbolize the five districts and their location on the Starzel and Eyach rivers.

Hiking

The sheep around the shepherd are supposed to symbolize the districts of Starzach. It is rumored that the sheep turned away from the shepherd represents the Sulzau district.
