"Oud-Zevenaar is a village in the Dutch municipality of Zevenaar (province of Gelderland) south of the city of the same name, and has more than 600 inhabitants. As the name suggests, the village is older than Zevenaar itself.
An attraction in Oud-Zevenaar is the centuries-old St. Martin's Church, a national monument, which is located on a protrusion of the dike. Another attraction in the village is the still working corn mill De Hoop from 1850, which also houses a mill shop.
Oud-Zevenaar is also home to Havezate Camphuysen, a private castle that is not open to the public.
Oud-Zevenaar has hardly grown in recent years, so it has retained its historic appearance. However, a number of new homes have been built for people who, in some cases, moved due to the construction of the Betuwe Route. A new, beautiful school was also built in 2012. The current name is IKC St. Martinus."
