In 2013 - 2014, Natuurkunst Drenthe developed and realized the first GreenArtSpot. The internationally operating Artist Group Observatory from Rotterdam has been commissioned to develop this first GreenArtSpot.
Young Observatorium (three young artists) conducted their research on location from the Artist Residence Dalen of the Sanders-ten Holte family. With the results of the scout week, the artists then started working in the Rotterdam studio on a final design for the GreenArtSpot Dalen. The artwork was placed in the spring of 2014.
