Hiking
In 1818, an important peace congress took place in Aachen, attended by the Prussian king, the Russian tsar, and the Austrian emperor. To commemorate this event, the Congress Monument was erected on Adalbertsteinweg in 1822. In the 1920s, it was finally relocated to the city park.

is a monument reminiscent of the 1818 monarchs' congress in Aachen, which was erected at a historic location on Adalbertsteinweg in 1914 and moved in 1928 to the city garden of Aachen based on designs by the agricultural inspector Johann Peter Cremer from 1822 and Schinkels / Cremers from 1837 1836–1844.
