Can be seen from afar: the Brandau war cemetery was laid out on the top of the Geisberg. 461 victims of the First and Second World Wars - 147 German and 306 foreign dead from 15 different nations as well as eight unknown persons - were buried here

Very impressive.
Above all, that German soldiers were buried next to deceased Russian, Polish and other prisoners of war. In death they are all the same!
We cannot remember often enough the horrors and endless suffering of the world wars!
