Overall and in summary: it was GREEN.
But you could also call the tour "Macro Blossom Hike". Sensational and finally spring again with sun and next to green also a lot of blue.
Our goal today is an area where we and our youngest were present half an eternity ago for a fascinating, cozy medieval festival ... Eschau market with Wildenstein Castle.
What can you say: flowers, sensational views, partly romantic paths through no less romantic valleys and corridors, every now and then animal things along the way: so the normal ... cows, sheep, goats, horses, cats, chickens with a proud rooster, but then: wild boars (yes okay ... only tracks), two deer crossing and plucked poultry by whoever is eating (RIP) ... then various streams (the Elsava is also there) and then of course the castle (ruin ) ... wow ... you don't expect here ... but it's relatively big for here "in the back" ... the tour has a good mix of walking-on-sunshine and forest bathing ... paved paths next to paths ... and the call to the castle is short, crisp, but definitely not a problem.
This round gets 6 stars out of 10 with the potential to loosen 7 if you take the moated castle Oberaulenbach with you.

Spring weather pulls outside ... and today spontaneously made a short hike in the immediate vicinity of home. Steinbach behind the sun, district of Johannesberg in the Aschaffenburg district, so very close, but still in the other federal state, namely in Lower Franconia. Belonging to the Spessart Nature Park and explored a bit on the map, you can't really go wrong with a tour here ... really "wild" gorges, wonderful paths and trails, meandering streams and the first tentative spring green are the highlights here.
Starting from the "center" in Steinbach, it goes straight uphill to the Guttenberghütte with wonderful views over the Spessart and south to Aschaffenburg. Then on a beautiful path down to a larger clearing / knoll at the highest point of which a small private hut invites you to linger for a while. When it goes up, it goes down again ... that is, down to the Roßbach and following its course on an exciting path to its confluence with the Steinbach. Now in the valley of the Steinbach a loop, first along the Steinbach, past the Menze-Mühl and the Jahnfelsen, then crossing the Steinbach at a sensationally located wooden bridge up to the adjacent "mountain" / hill and in a small arc back to the starting point of the Loops at the Roßbach estuary. Finally now slightly uphill to Steinbach, always along the Steinbach ... e bissi then through Steinbach to the starting point "center" with a few nice views in the "pretty Örtsche" ... short, successful, varied Ruff-un-Runner tour .. .gorgeous.

Thanks for the inspiration Ms. K. from S.Start of the new year with a wonderful Rhöntour and real winter ...
Starting point Guckaisee and that's what this extra tour is called. First then a small loop around the lake, and then tackle the ascent up to the horse's head ... quite difficult / slippery to get up there in this sensational winter landscape ...
then over to the Lerchenküppel and from there we cross one of the slopes of the well-known Wasserkuppe. From here we follow the Saar-Schlesien-Weg before we dip into the winter forest on the right hand side across another meadow and slowly descend towards the starting point. The path up here in the forest is a sensation and for that reason alone the tour is definitely done again at a different time of the year. The path now circles the Eube summit and then steadily downwards in a wide semicircle back to the Guckaisee ... wow.
It all sounds pretty easy ... the distance and the time are also more like short distances ... but: with up to 40-50 cm of snow on the paths, you can make really slow and difficult progress without snowshoes. ..puuuh ... anyway or maybe because of that a wonderful round ...

Best weather for the outdoor clothing test🙈😅 ... so we selected a tour with more forest bathing and thus selected the hike to the Hohe Wart Haus ... at Niesel then from Leidersbach and steadily uphill with some very nice passages and views .. . But then a long section to the Hohe Wart Haus with an expansion stage comparable to a motorway🙄 ... then just forest bathing and catch one or the other detail along the way ... runs😁🍀 ... a hoped-for ToGo beer had to at the destination unfortunately also canceled ... everyone knows why ... then just back to the starting point and this section was then more to my liking again die ... the pictures show that too ... after a lot of forest bathing then out and down Leidersbach a little way over dirt roads and side streets ... but all in all it was not a favorite tour ... at most 4🌟 out of a possible 10🌟.

❄️🌫️☁️Nebel-Gray-Mystik-Hike to put it briefly in Denglish ... but it was great ... once again a tour not far away ... why into the distance ✈️schw ... everyone knows the rest Rest ... short, varied, informative hike from Mömlingen over the Eichelberg in a wide arc back to the starting point ... many information boards invite you to the "when-will-the-next" search mode ... and one or the other path and wonderful panoramic views are Of course also there ... in east-west direction first up on the "mountain" ridge between Mömling and Amorbach up to Eichelsberg, followed by Grenzberg ... with two or three small detours, small loops, to the former iron ore mine, to the Mühlhansen-Maar and the sinkholes on Eichelsberg ... up to Grenzberg this is the Geopark Path "Fire and Water", which explains the many signs along the way ... then down into the valley towards Wald-Amorbach ... we leave here also the "abroad" and cross the national border into the home ... on the other side like the up in the Hartgrund ... exactly at the point when we reach the edge of the forest after the ascent, we then reach the border back from the Hessian to the Bavarian ... and now back to the starting point always below the Hasenberg over a wonderful (Panorama) path with great orchards ... then something through Mömlingen with one or the other beautiful half-timbered house or various barns ... oh ... over again ... 6🌟 out of 10 possible🌟 for this loop .. .we do it again in the sunshine to take the panoramic views on the Eichelsberg with us ...
