The figure of the mythical hero Heracles stands between the two pillars of Heracles. He wears the fur of the Nemean lion around his shoulders and hips as a cloak. He is accompanied on the right and left by two golden lions, the (heraldic) right one in a crouched position, the (heraldic) left one in a defensive position. The pillars are bridged by an arch in the Andalusian colors of green-white-green, with the Latin motto in gold inscription: "DOMINATOR HERCULES FUNDATOR" (German: "Ruler Hercules the Founder").
