The Rappersberg is located southeast of Schönfeld and northwest of Braunersberg at an altitude of about 555 meters altitude. He is the "Schönfelder Hausberg" and is higher with his summit than the adjacent Obernseeser Knock and only slightly lower than the Neubürg, which has a height of about 587 meters.
Unfortunately, the summit is completely unspectacular because it is wooded and has no view. Only a granite stone marks the summit. For many hikers, however, the short cut on the Franconian mountain path from Schönfeld to Knockhütte on the Rappersberg is a real alternative.
