The Rappersberg is located southeast of Schönfeld and northwest of Braunersberg at an altitude of about 555 meters altitude. He is the "Schönfelder Hausberg" and is higher with his summit than the adjacent Obernseeser Knock and only slightly lower than the Neubürg, which has a height of about 587 meters.
