A mill was mentioned in Leimbach as early as 1216. In 1556, it paid five malters of grain and one mill pig as rent to the Nürburg office. On October 8, 1944, the old Leimbach mill, powered by the water of the Adenauer Bach, was destroyed by explosive bombs. The last miller, Albert Schneider, died in 1980. Since then, the grain mill has been run by Maria Therese Rösel.
