The path to the Königsstuhl in Heidelberg is something very special. It goes up a staircase that doesn't really deserve the name. It is made of rough sandstone and is very steep. You need to be in good shape, and it's a challenge with luggage. When I got to the top, I enjoyed the fabulous view. If you want, you can stop off there and eat well. It's a hotel, so overnight stays are possible. I continued hiking through the forest to the Neckarsteig. This is very well signposted, so you can actually save yourself the need for a sat nav. Or at least electricity. Up there, there is a fairytale garden for children, which is very popular. I extended my first stage of the Neckarsteig by the second stage and walked through Neckargemünd to Dillsberg. Through Dillsberg and at the foot of the mountain, on the Neckar, I reached the campsite. I spent the night there. It was a really great trip. Highly recommended.
