Nordic walking

The modern fountain was built in 2003. Erwin Otte designed the granite work of art. Nepomuk, made of bronze, holds a cross in his left hand, which is based on the spires of the basilica. A semicircular light band with six underwater spotlights runs through the arch carved out of the bridge at the bottom of the pool. These symbolize the six stars that, according to legend, indicated where the body of John Nepomuk was in the Vltava. The bridge represents connections.
The stones in and around the fountain invite you to sit down. They make the fountain come alive.
