Bavarian Farmstead Kirchheim - open May to September every Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment
The Bavarian Farmstead Kirchheim is a reconstructed farmstead from the Merovingian period (c. 450–750 AD). The reconstruction does not follow any original site but is based on findings from archaeological excavations, primarily in the Munich gravel plain (e.g., settlement excavations in Kirchheim, south of Tassilostraße, in the early 1980s).
