Chapel dedicated to Mary; located in the middle of a bed of lime trees and accessible via a lane with ash trees. Built in the 18th century in memory of Field Marshal Jan-Filips-Eugeen de Merode, Lord of Herselt and Westerlo (1674-1732), who had the beautiful avenues constructed in the vicinity of the castle, see introduction Bergom). The exact year of construction has not yet been determined, but the chapel is present on the Ferraris map, drawn up in 1771-1777. Popularly also called "Molenskapelleke" after the former proximity to the Bergom mill.
