A remnant of one of the largest German Air Force air bases in Western Europe. The work on the expansion of the night fighter airfield by the Luftgau Command 4 started on October 1, 1940 on behalf of the Reich Ministry of Aviation, on an emergency and alternate landing field of the Dutch air force from 1913. Also called a single-aircraft hangar. They were heated and thus also used for repairs to the machines.
