In front of him, Veronica kneels. On the left, the Virgin and the Pious Women enter. The statues, created by Francesco Silva, have a strong emotive aura. The frescoes are by Giovanni Paolo Recchi (1654) and depict the walls of the Holy City, elegant female figures, men with exotic turbans, soldiers and angels.
Outside, the chapel houses the "Ecce Homo" by Stefano Maria Legnani, alias II Legnanino, from 1686.
