The draft horse museum is located on federal road 209 in Lütau. It shows the work with draft horses in different areas during the industrialization up to the middle of the 20th century, e.g. B. Hard work underground as pit horses, as railroad horses for maneuvering and much more. Until 2002, the Holsten brewery had a six-train with draft beer wagons in use.

Hiking
The Draft Horse Museum is a historic farm from 1726,
directly on the Old Salt Road, the old freight route between Lüneburg and Lübeck.
Although the museum does not contain an agricultural history collection or sees itself as a local museum, you are given the opportunity to get to know other creatures besides horses, who, like goats, have also performed important pulling and carrying tasks and must therefore be included in the long line of working animals that have supported people with endless "energy" over the centuries.
