The Arche de Corte is a natural arch located above Corte and overlooking the valley of Tavignano. This icon of Corsica is well worth climbing. It may seem a little fragile but the rock is granite which gives the arch its strength.

Hiking
A spectacular rock formation, otherwise known only from pictures of Arches National Park in the USA. Quite surprisingly, after a steep climb of 1000 meters from Corte, you get to this really rewarding place. The view down to the valley of the Tavignano and to Corte is also great.
