Greenway of Safor

The Vía Verde is a section of lane where cars are not allowed and is for the exclusive use of cyclists or walkers. This route, in perfect condition and with a paved surface, connects the city of Gandía with Oliva, going through very picturesque landscapes. It is all flat and straight so there is no technical difficulty, ideal for a walk with the whole family.

It smells wonderful, especially in spring, when the orange trees are in bloom. It offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and the Mediterranean vegetation.There are several rest areas with benches in the shade along the route. The route is well signposted and has information boards about the history of the region and the old railway line.
