About Datsusara Outdoors

DATSUSARA is a Japanese term that refers to quitting a steady job to pursue what one really loves, assuming the risks and challenges that follow.
As for me, my passion is mountain biking, which allows me to combine sport, the outdoors, and adventure, three pillars that inspire & motivate me on a daily basis.

⚫️⚪️ Have you ever thought what would your favorite tour look like if you could only see black and white?

📷 I enjoy a lot taking pictures while riding or hiking, but when you go the same places couple of times the pictures look much alike. So, while riding this morning I remembered what @Uschi asked

☀️ Another gorgeous summer day and just the perfect excuse to go to the beach 🏖

🚵‍♂️ But it's always better to come up with a good combo of beach and mountains, and I'm lucky to live nearby both 😎

🥵 After a week of intense and humid heat wave, finally it rained yesterday and not only helped to cool down but also to clear the sky for a perfect visibility this morning.

🚵‍♂️ After two weeks resting and doing some maintenance on my bike, it felt really good to be back on my saddle and lube a bit

🥵 The heat wave is here and while my mtb is resting at the maintenance shop, I decided to hike around my town's backyard.

🏞 La Casella holds plenty of trails and gravel roads that you can combine as you pleased making every tour different than the previous one. This time I decided to visit the "l'Ouet

🤯 Being a contemporary civil engineer, it is difficult to perceive the construction of something without using technology or machinery. These historical monuments captivate me and blows my mind by simply considering that it has been there for 2000 years and these people (without computers or technological

🏞 The Pinares de Rodeno Protected Landscape owes its name to an extensive pine forest of rodeno or resinero pine that sits on wine-colored sandstone and sometimes grows in impossible places.

🗿 This unique place was occupied by prehistoric man, conserving beautiful manifestations of Levantine rock art

🏞 Another renowned hike in Sierra de Albarracín is the Barranco de la Hoz trail that starts its circular tour in the town of Calomarde. It’s known for the picturesque views of the ravine as well as for the gangways of the alternative route that runs along the Río Blanco.

🏞 The Batida waterfall (a.k.a. Cascada de Calomarde o Cascada del Molino Viejo) is located a few kilometers from the town of Calomarde next to the road. Formed by a 20 meter height drop in the course of the Fuente del Berro River (a tributary of the Guadalaviar River), it offers a show all year long

🚶 Today is was all about Albarracín and getting lost in its charming medieval streets. I think I walked pretty much every street, climbed to the fortress’s tower and down all the way to the Guadalaviar river to follow the stream in a beautiful and scenery trail (water was too cold for a bath).

📝 I remember the first time I heard about this area and from that moment it triggered my curiosity. In my home country there are some very large and unpopulated areas, but this one in particular draws my attention because it is in Spain, whose surface is much more smaller than that of Argentina.
