To the golden ox suburb 17
17th century. The magnificent house also served as an inn until 1608.
When it was converted into an elegant town house in 1608, the late-Gothic facade was added
the splendor of the German Renaissance in the form of bay windows and portals. The frescoes
of the facade show a golden ox as a house sign and people from the
Babylonian history and Greek antiquity. Are at the magnificent bay window
depicting the 5 senses.

Served until 1608 as a hostel. When it was rebuilt in 1608 into a distinguished burgess house of the Hageloch family, the late-Gothic façade received the splendor of the German Renaissance in the form of a bay window and arched portal with a crowning coat of arms decoration.
The frescoes on the façade show a golden ox as a house sign and people from Babylonian history and Greek antiquity.

Very beautiful facade and the old town of Schaffhausen with all its bay windows, cafes and winding streets is always worth a visit. Especially when the weekly market is in Schaffhausen.
