The Gevangenenpoort (or inner Eeckelpoort or Eikelpoort) is the last remaining city gate of the original five inner gates of the first ramparts of Lier, in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The gate was established in 1375 and from the 16th century to 1930 it served as a city prison.[1] The bars still point to this old function. The city wall ran from the gate to the "Corneliustoren" which was also part of the city defence.

The Prison Gate is originally Gothic in style.[2] Around 1728 it was modified with classicistic features.
