There should be 12 such dwarves placed in various places throughout Luhe...

Now they will soon be enough for two Snow Whites. A few days ago, the twelfth bronze dwarf based on the Wroclaw model was installed on the entrance steps to the Sparkasse in Luhe. There are now over 600 of them “marching” around the Polish city as a symbol of former political resistance.

The little man in Luhe holds a bag of money in each hand, one filled with euros and the other with US dollars. The design sketch for this comes from Annalena Preißer. Former mayor Dr. Karl-Heinz Preißer and the owner of the savings bank building, Dr. Rudolf Poschenrieder from Vohenstrauß personally picked up the work of art from the creator in Poland. The house owner - he also sponsored the work of art - and his wife Regina see the sculpture as a good luck charm for everyone who enters the building. Karl Hauser anchored the figure “bomb-proof” on a side entrance step.
