Burg Reinegg is located on the east side of Sarnthein rising mountain slope and is from Sarnthein in about 30 minutes to reach on foot. The castle dates back to the 13th century and was extensively renovated in 1938. She is in top condition and gives a very impressive image to the outside; the castle is inhabited and unfortunately not to be visited.

Very beautiful castle to look at. The castle complex, which is not open to the public, is under monument protection. The first documented mention of the complex was in 1263 under the name "castrum Sarentine". The castle originally belonged to the household of the Counts of Eppan and was the center of the Eppan dominion of Sarnthein.
