František Kotek built this new building in 1899 on the site of the demolished Renaissance house „U Zlaté koule“ from the late 16th century, under the same name, with its magnificent facades combining stylistic elements of Eclecticism, Neo-Renaissance, and Neo-Baroque.

Eclectic new building from 1899, master builder František Kotek, built on the ruins of the Renaissance house „U Zlaté kule“ from the end of the 16th century. Statue of St. John of Nepomuk in Nice Rococo, presumably from the end of the 18th century. Latin inscription on the facade facing Pražská street from the beginning of the 17th century.
The house represents a characteristic part of Pilsen's redesign at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
