The house 'Měšťanská beseda' in the Kopecky Garden in Pilsen was completed in 1901 by the Pilsen builder František Kotek. The architectural design of the building is dominated by the Neo-Renaissance style, and the artistic decoration is predominantly Art Nouveau. With several ballrooms and lounges, the Beseda Cinema, the JoNáš Theater and the famous Art Nouveau café, the Měšťanská beseda is one of the most important social and cultural centers in Pilsen. It is a three-story building with a rectangular floor plan that extends far into the inner courtyard and is located in a continuous development on the south side of the Kopecky Garden.
