The Hannemann’sche Twiete is a pretty, small alley with a café and the Alten Bürgerlichen Brauhaus. Brewing once had great importance for Uelzen's economy. The Hannemann’sche Twiete is also the courtyard of a former brewery, which the restaurant "Altes Bürgerliches Brauhaus" commemorates. The Twiete connects the "back" Achterstraße with the wide market street "Lüneburger Straße".
