Tips
In the past, contamination of the Vichtbach occurred behind the Stolberg plants Mäurer & Wirtz and Prym on Zweifaller Straße. Today the Vichtbach has water quality class II (moderately polluted) along its entire course. From 1972 to 1981 it was grade II-III above the Stolberg works and grade III-IV below.
