The 11th century consecrated Romanesque church of Janskerk. The choir was replaced in the first half of the 16th century (about 15010-1539) by a Gothic new building. From 1977 to 1981 the church was restored. In the process, conversions from the Reformation period were reversed. The Janskerk today serves the ecumenical student church as a place of worship.
The small left adjoining house has a very neat façade.

ATTENTION: only pay part of your attention to the sights AND always keep an eye on the incessantly heavy traffic of pedestrians and cyclists.Otherwise conflicts may quickly arise. Even if the experienced and, for me, unusually fast everyday cyclists usually suffice at the last second.
