During the recent major renovation, paintings and decorations on the pulpit were uncovered in the interior, which were created in 1731 by the Hildburghausen carver and painter Johann Stamm.
In 1903 the parish purchased the chandelier.

It was built between 1670 and 1672 on the site of a chapel and consecrated in October 1672. The floor plan is an elongated, east-facing rectangle. The choir, with its sloping corners, has a hipped gable roof crowned by a ridge turret with a slated spire, a turret finial, and a weather vane. The organ is equipped with a special carillon, which can be heard every year at Christmas.
