The origins of the village date back to the Middle Ages. Mentioned in 1337. It is possible that some of the land in the village was owned by the von Ilstedt family at that time, who owned land in nearby Czerników. In 1492, the estate was owned by the von Strauss family - the mentioned Bernd, Claus, Hans and his son Hans from Wojcieszyce, Claus and Kurt from Krajnik, Jakub, Claus and Piotr from Różanki. In 1706, Ernst Ludwig von der Marwitz took over the estate. In 1802, the estate was purchased from Friedrich Ludwig von der Marwitz, Lupold Christoph von Wedel from Krępcewo. The von Wedel family owned the property until 1945 - mentioned - Günther von Wedel (1903) and Curt von Wedel (1920s).
In the village there is a ruin of a manor house built by the von Wedel family in the 18th century, rebuilt in the 19th century. Built on a rectangular plan, with a basement. In the vicinity there is a historic landscape park with an area of 3.0 ha.
