With over 170 bird species and approximately 1,700 to 2,000 specimens, it is considered one of the largest and most important aviaries in America. Highlights include the Andean condor (Colombia's national bird), harpy eagles, flamingos, and toucans.
The seven-hectare facility is divided into three ecosystems: tropical rainforest, coastal zone (mangroves), and desert.
Opening hours: Daily from 09:00 to 17:00 (last admission at 16:00).
The "Aves al Vuelo" presentation takes place twice daily, usually at 11:30 and 15:30.
Admission prices:
Adults (foreigners): approx. 60,000 COP.
Adults (Colombians): approx. 40,000 to 50,000 COP.
