Getsemani itself is considered the neighborhood of ordinary people and artisans. There, too, you'll find typical colonial houses with their balconies. However, the alleys are less immaculate than those within the fortress walls. This means that even ordinary individuals can afford to own businesses here. Instead of air conditioning, many of the restaurants use simple fans.

On the other hand, the people are very friendly, and we are surrounded by an atmosphere reminiscent of Caribbean Colombia. And if you're looking for something a little more touristy, it's only a short walk to the large city gate and Cartagena's old town.
